(Colombo, Lankapuvath) The timeframe set out by the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights established OHCHR Investigation on Sri Lanka (OISL) is problematic, says Military Spokesman Brigadier Ruwan Wanigasuriya. While clarifying that Sri Lanka is opposed to the UNHRC appointed investigation, he pointed out although its specified mandate is to inquire into the alleged human rights violations in Sri Lanka between 22 February 2002 to 19 May 2009, the Investigation Team has reportedly investigate events up to 15th November 2011.
