(Colombo, Lankapuvath) Democratic Party leader Sarath Fonseka in his maximum effort to obtain at least few sympathy votes in the upcoming Uva provincial council election is marketing the incident of suicide bomb attack on him. In one of Democratic Party’s campaign rallies a mock display of the suicide attack was arranged. With the car which was damaged in the incident on display a cut out of the suicide bomber and banners carrying images taken at the time were exhibited.

(Colombo, Lankapuvath) Harin Fernando is actively engaged with the election campaign for Uva Provincial Council these days. Harin has arranged a luxury bungalow especially for accommodation of lady MPs and Provincial Councilors who had come to support him in the campaign. However, MP Rosy Senananayake has refused to stay in this bungalow. It is not revealed why she has refused so but in contrast Nadeesha Hemamali has agreed to indulge in the luxuries provided by UNP Chief Ministerial candidate. It is reported that Harin also frequently visits Nadeesha to inquire on her well-being at this bungalow.
