“Certain groups attempting to sell State resources to Private Sector” - President

(Colombo, Lankapuvath) - Speaking at a public meeting in Serunuwara yesterday (19), President Mahinda Rajapaksa stated that the Presidential Candidate from the opposition who says that he would adopt a Singapore model to manage the country's affairs wants to take the United National Party (UNP) Government's program forward. He said the Opposition's Common Candidate Maithripala Sirisena wants to continue with what was done by former United National Party (UNP) Leaders in the country.
