Fonseka markets suicide bomb to obtain sympathy votes

E-mail Print PDF

(Colombo, Lankapuvath) Democratic Party leader Sarath Fonseka in his maximum effort to obtain at least few sympathy votes in the upcoming Uva provincial council election is marketing the incident of suicide bomb attack on him.

In one of Democratic Party’s campaign rallies a mock display of the suicide attack was arranged. With the car which was damaged in the incident on display a cut out of the suicide bomber and banners carrying images taken at the time were exhibited.

These kind of pathetic marketing strategies show that Sarath Fonseka and his party has already accepted the obvious defeat and they have realised there is no other way out to win at least one or two seats in Uva PC polls.
