10 houses in Kottawa damaged due to lightening

(Colombo-Lankapuvath) Electrical equipment of ten households in Pinhena area in Kottawa has been damaged due to lightening, said the Assistant Director of Disaster Management, PradeepKoddippili told Lankapuvath.

The incident had occurred at last night.

The officials of the Disaster Management Center assessed the damaged houses today (06) and an evaluation was to be conducted by the Electricity Board, added Mr. Kodippili.
