(Colombo Lankapuvath May 19) Commander of Sri Lanka Army General Sarath Fonseka has confirmed that the body of Vellupille Prabhakaran, psychopathic leader of world's most barbaric and ruthless terrorist outfit, Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) was  found a short while ago (19).

Troops of the 53 Division led by Major General Kamal Goonarathne found the bullet ridden body of the terrorist leader lying on the bank of the Nanthikadal lagoon in Mullaittivu said the Ministry of Defence.

The body was identified as of the LTTE leader Parabakaran by the Military. He was killed in an attempt to flee.
According to the Ministry of Defence, the LTTE leader who ordered thousands of Tamil youth to give up their lives for him tried to save his life until the last second.

Vellupille Prabhakaran was responsible for thousands of innocent lives in Sri Lanka and caused massacre in the country.
Ironically, Interpol most wanted terrorist K. Padmanathan (alias KP) had told a pro LTTE media that the LTTE leader was safe and sound. As the news of the death of Prabhakaran appeared on media, thousands of Tamil civilians living in Colombo capital joined celebrations of the victory of the security forces' communicating that the curse placed on the Tamil nation has finally been removed.
