(Colombo Lankapuvath February 21) Troops of the SL army recovered an underground bunker in the Pudukuduiruppu South area last evening (20).

Troops attached to 53 Division which under the command of Brigadier Kamal Gunarathna discovered the bunker consisting of three stories which is also believed to be a hiding place of the LTTE leader Prabhakaran, said the Media Centre for National Security (MCNS).

According to military sources the bunker was fully air conditioned and was protected with steel guard pots with all other luxury facilities.
