(Colombo Lankapuvath December 07) Troops continuing search operations in Mullaittivu were and Trincomalee recovered several war items yesterday (06).

According to the Media Centre for National Security (MCNS) troops of the Task Force II, were able to recover 09 T56 Assault rifles, 05 Magazines, a MPMG Tripod, a SMG (body part), 08 LTTE albums, an document of the LTTE, an I com set, a radio set, 03 Antennas, a hand mike, 08 CDMA phones, a CDMA phone charger, 02 CDMA receivers   and a Modum.

Meanwhile troops of the 22 division who conducted search operations in Uppuveli area, in Trincomalee were able to recover 02 Claymore mines each weighing 1.6Kg the same day.
