(Colombo Lankapuvath December 08) The national ceremony for distributing books for the year 2010 will be held at the Wembadi Vidyalaya, Jaffna tomorrow (09).

The ceremony will be held under the patronage of Minister of Education Susil Premajayantha.

According to the Ministry more than two million text books have been sent to the North to be distributed. Timely action was taken by the Education Publication Department to promptly distribute the text books among more than 4.2 million students island wide.

Three students from each school will receive a certificate on best

maintenance of books. The certificate will be issued by the Educations Department.
