(Colombo Lankapuvath) President Mahinda Rajapakse made his offerings to Adivel at the Temple Trees main gate on Galle road yesterday (27).

This was the 136 annual Adivel ceremony of Hettiveediya Kathireshan Kovil. The Adivel has proceeded to the Hettiveediya Kathireshan Kovil from Bambalapitiya. Chairman of the “Tharunnayata Hettak Movement” Mr. Namal Rajapakse, MP Chief Trustee Mr. Subramaniam Chettiar and large number of trustee members were present.
