(Colombo Lankapuvath) An urban alligator in the neighborhood of Florida is terrorizing and eating pets says foreign sources. The deadly reptile who is 10feet long is to be hunted by an alligator hunter to shoot and kill it says the US state agency. It is to be caught either dead or alive.

This reptile has been on the loose for two years stalking pets around canals in the St Petersburg area, and it uses the drainage system to travel says Mr. Gary Morse of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. He further stated that it is hard to target a specific gator. This alligator ate a mixed-breed dog that was running near the canal, he further added.

He has loads of hiding places says Mr. Morse and some people have been reportedly feeding the renegade gator, making his capture even more complicated because he is eluding bait traps.

The Alligator Hunter Charles Carpenter plans to use a hunting rifle or semi-automatic pistol to take down his prey.
