(Colombo Lankapuvath October 17) A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) as signed between Sri Lanka and Iran for the purchase of drugs.
The signing ceremony took place at Temple Trees in the presence of President Mahinda Rajapaksa. Iranian Foreign Minister Mottaki and his Sri Lankan counterpart Rohitha Bogollagama singed the MoU. The agreement will lead to mutual awareness of the two countries and also symbolizes the friendly ties between the countries.
Iran’s Ambassador Mahmoud Rahimi Gorji and Health Secretary Dr. Athula Kahandaliyanage were present.
